Estates Team Leader required for a leading housing association based in the West Midlands. My client is looking for a dynamic, experienced team leader to manage a team of around 4 Estates Assistants. You will have a range of experience including dealing with customer enquiries promptly and efficiently, carrying risk and fire risk assessments and overseeing fly-tipping issues. Your team will carry out the front-line work required on ground maintenance.

You will have some interesting duties such as;

-To be responsive to tenants needs and enquiries and offer appropriate advice and assistance.

- Manage stock levels, order goods and materials as and when required, and ensure safe storage.

- Report and undertake minor repairs, address environmental issues, housing related matters and reporting concerns regards tenancy breaches, safeguarding and environmental hazards to colleagues and appropriate agencies and authorities.

- Attend team meetings and briefings as required

- Proactive in managing own workload, setting and delivering against priorities ensuring targets and deadlines are met.

-Create, monitor and maintain computer and manual records relating to Health & Safety, COSHH requirements and team performance ¡V e.g.: spreadsheets (referral tracking), inspection performance records; to include external contracts, e.g.: cleaner performance records, memos etc.

- Manage an effective key management system and monitor the signing out of keys to internal staff and authorised persons

- Co-ordinates CV Estates administrative support services to colleagues across teams for example community team, customer 1st team, assets team and Compass Support.

- Researches the Internet to obtain best value from suppliers.
Produces reports on performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, or as requested, for management evaluation

This is a temporary role for around 6 months depending on the needs of the business and the performance of the candidate. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
