Sales Administrator - £18,000- £20,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Herefordshire

Our client, a leading Engineering firm would like to recruit a professional Account Manager/Sales Administrator to join their existing Sales team at their offices in Herefordshire. The key purpose of the role is the complete management of selected customer accounts, ideal candidates will also have some supervisory or team leading experience for this role as you will be responsible for managing a small team of administrators.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Managing current team of 5 administrators, motivating and coaching them
  • otal management of selected customer accounts(office based)
  • Spotting new opportunities with clients, up-selling and cross-selling where appropriate

  • Regular use of Microsoft Office suite, outlook, word and excel

  • Verbal and written communication with customers

  • Communicating with internal colleagues to achieve satisfaction

  • Processing sales orders, raising production paperwork

  • Progressing orders

  • Stock control/replenishment

  • Forecast monitoring and producing M.I.

Candidate skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum of 3 years in an account management or sales administration position, ideally team leader / supervisor position
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Good knowledge of IT software - Outlook, Excel, Word, advanced excel would be advantageous

  • Strong multi-tasker who can prioritise workload and manage own time

  • Good team player, keen to work hard and progress
