Primary KS2 Teacher, October Start start
Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher for two terms, for an average-sized primary school located in Walsall due to commence after October half term.
About the School
Most pupils are from White British backgrounds. The number of pupils from minority ethnic groups is well below the national average, as is the proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities is average.
The school is looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, so strong curriculum knowledge and KS2 experience is essential.
In its most recent Ofsted report the school was graded as "GOOD" it was stated that behaviour is good and pupils conduct themselves in a calm and orderly manner at all times of the day. They are friendly and confident with staff and peers alike.
To Apply to this role you will need the following
. It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils.
. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) NQT's are encouraged to apply for this post
. Last two years of work references, one of which must be a teaching reference
As a KS2 teacher you will be expected and required to:
. Developing and implementing lessons and work schemes.
. Plan, prepare and teach exciting, challenging and engaging lessons
. Assess and record learning carried out by pupils
. Evaluate attainment and progression of pupils;
. Manage behaviour effectively in line with the school behaviour policy
