Key Results Areas:

• To effectively contribute to the 'collection performance’ of SGBD to reduce DSO’s, minimize the risk of bad debts thus maximizing the Company’s overall debtor performance

• To manage and mitigate the risk relating to customer credit limits

• To authorize credit limit increases, in line with risk management activity and company procedure

• To provide outstanding levels of customer service to internal and external customers

• To maximize sales opportunities within a defined customer base by effectively managing credit limits

• To build good working relationships with internal and external customers

• To follow up quickly and effectively any short payments made by customers • To address / update all stop maintenance and over trading issues in accordance with Company policy and procedures

• To effectively contribute to the handling of all incoming and outgoing calls to ensure they are dealt with in a professional manner and meet agreed Company targets

• To undertake administrative duties as appropriate and ensure the system is updated accordingly e.g. copy invoice / statement requests etc.

• To maintain and monitor the customer query database in order that queries are addressed and resolved efficiently and effectively Knowledge,

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience within a credit control environment

• Excellent telephone and customer service skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize workload

• Ability to deal with a high level of workload

• Able to work well in a team environment

• PC literate - MS Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 - Word, Excel, Outlook

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

• Flexible
