Role Purpose

Responsible for the running of the reception and business areas at 55 Temple Row

Key Responsibilities

• Owning the reception and deciding how it is run
• Answering the phones
• Meeting and greeting clients and serving them
• Responsible for the meeting room booking system and ensuring people use it
• Communicating with the office forthcoming meetings
• Arranging client lunches and client/staff events that are held in the ground floor space
• Ensuring the meeting rooms are tidy, presentable and prepared for forthcoming meetings
• Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable
• Ensuring the C-Bar and tea points are clean
• Providing service within the meeting rooms
• Overseeing the work of junior receptionist
• Assisting MD’s PA with marketing and with events

Person Specification

• Proactive and hands on approach
• Established experience within a receptionist role
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
• Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
• Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks
• Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
• Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team
• Confident and assertive where required
• Sociable and outgoing
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion
• Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients

Skills Required

• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook). RSA Word processing/typing/or equivalent would be advantageous
• GCSEs - Maths and English language minimum C grade
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
