Role: Inventory Assistant

Reporting To: Inventory Supervisor

Interaction Recruitment are currently working with a Global supply chain partner and distributor of communication, security, electrical and electronic wire and cable products providing solutions and services to the OEM industrial market. They are looking to recruit an experienced Inventory Assistant to fill this key position.


Summary

The Inventory team are responsible for performing daily stock audits across the warehouse operation. As an Inventory Assistant you will support the business by responding quickly to a range of queries from the internal teams; sales, purchasing and warehouse regarding stock issues. Duties & Responsibilities


Maintain stock levels to meet or exceed company targets.

  • Daily cycle counts and recounts

  • Inbound, cutting audits

  • Accurately input the results

  • Carrying out random order checks in the warehouse

  • Maintaining exceptional customer service

Office Administration

  • Stock adjustments and part number changes

  • Accurate administration

  • Reel card maintenance

  • Receiving and responding to emails and telephone calls from internal and external staff members

  • Resolve stock queries from sales

  • Helping with the daily scanning and general office activity

  • Adopt the company‚Äôs 5S culture

    Supporting other areas of the business

  • Assisting the outbound operations

  • Helping with daily replenishment process

  • Adopting the businesses ethos in team work

  • Supporting other areas of the operation when required

    Person Specification

  • Educated to a good standard (GCSE + )

  • Experience of IT equipment in a workplace environment

  • V12 FLT license desirable

  • Knowledge of MS applications.

  • Open to change and adaptable work ethic

  • Able to prioritise a varied daily workload and multi-task

  • Confident and professional attitude
