Occupational Therapist - Stoke
Role: Occupational Therapist - CAMHS - Band 6
Permanent: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 – 32,000 (dependent upon experience)
The role is working across three services in the Stoke area, with young people with mental health difficulties.
Experience within Mental Health is required, and experience in working within a CAMHS service would be advantageous.
Driver would be preferred.

You will work alongside a full residential care Team including support workers, team leaders, psychologists to support young people in their transition from residential services into more community independence and supporting their emotional health and well being. Taking a “hands on” approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills, willingness to be involved in the consultation and training of care staff . You must have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will provide quality assessments and interventions within the Model of Human Occupation. Knowledge of the care programme approach, risk assessment and clinical governance frameworks will prove beneficial.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, forward thinking occupational therapist to join our friendly team. You must have a degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience in child and adolescent mental health would be advantageous.
