Based in our Dreams Bed Factory in Oldbury (West Midlands) we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor based on a Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months starting mid-September 2017 as Maternity Cover. As the HR Advisor, you`ll provide the 1st point of contact for advice and guidance on a wide range of HR queries within the factory and from staff at all levels. You`ll also provide a high level of support to the HR Manager and wider HR team in the management of complex case work.

Key Responsibilities:

-Managing daily attendance and overtime
-Managing short and long term absence
-Effective management of casework
-General administration; including disciplinary invite and outcome letters
-Support in the recruitment and selection process for the factory
-Liaising with finance department; responsible for submitting month end figures
-Drive team engagement by organising and managing team events

As a HR Advisor you`ll be confident, capable and comfortable providing generalist HR advice to managers, with experience in general HR and knowledge across a range of areas ideally gained in a retail or manufacturing environment. You`ll be able to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels and offer a creative approach to problem solving. You also have strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.

CIPD qualified or working toward this would be advantageous as you`ll demonstrate your commitment to development as a HR professional.

This is a fixed-term post (maternity cover) for up to 12 months.
