We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Production & Product Support Manager to lead our busy operations team.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and organising the production and servicing schedules.
  • Assessing project and resource requirements to deliver the best output.
  • Coaching, developing, supervising and leading the production engineers, assembly team and product support team.
  • Owning and delivering of the agreed production schedule and all quality assurance
  • Managing the production and product support facility
A minimum of HNC/ONC in an Engineering discipline along with previous experience of working within a small production environment, assembling complex electronic equipment as well as leadership experience is essential.

You will have:

  • Proven analytical skills
  • A working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to learn new technology fundamentals
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once
  • A good understanding of production and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication on all levels
  • Ability to lead, train and coach others within the department

Location and Benefits

You will be based in our newly renovated facility near Ledbury/Malvern. However remote working will be considered, with agreed travel between home and ZephIR’s premises expected. For a more accurate location, please use the post code HR8 1EU. Due to the remote location, public transport is not possible; as such a driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Salary offered will be dependent on your experience and fit for role.
