Although our name is Litho we sell a complete range of products and services for the print sector, Litho, Offset, Computer To Plate, Digital Presses, Sign and Display, Flexographic. We supply, install, finance equipment, conventional Litho Printing products, Digital Presses from Ricoh and Xerox, Flexographic products, Sign and Display equipment, ink and media.


Job description:


Currently we are looking for an Inkjet Media Business Development Manager to join our experienced Sales team.

Ideally located for UK travel (Midlands region preferred), the Inkjet Media Business Development Manager will sell and support Agfa strategy of developing a high quality depth of customer relationships.

Main duties include:

•Drive sales and growth of Agfa inkjet media and related products into a set of large targeted accounts within whole UK region.
•Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Signage, Fleet and Display Media Industry with a knowledgeable breakdown of customer needs and the ability to specify products.
•Recognize possibilities for increased new product opportunities within the customer base.
•Take ownership for all aspects of the customer’s account management requirements, and escalate appropriately any issues to ensure timely closure.
•Work closely with key accounts and potential target accounts to ensure we have a robust forecast process for the Stock control department to act upon.
•Work closely with credit control to ensure we have the correct credit situation for the customer, whilst also having limited financial exposure.
•Ensure that the Agfa CRM system and other feedback documentation is maintained with details pertinent to customer and competitor activities as required and is regularly updated and reviewed.
•Maintain a high level of professional service and representation in all dealings with customers and colleagues.

•Successful sales track record in Business Development in the Signage, Fleet and Display Media Industry
•High level of product knowledge driven by application understanding, with continued improvement in product understanding
•Ability to develop intelligent, logical and creative solutions when analyzing and solving problems
•Customer – oriented attitude. Strives to create the most value for the customer and builds a mutual, long-term relationship. Anticipates and attends to the needs of the customer.
•Team oriented: Works collaboratively across organizations to deliver solutions: willingly participates in structuring team objectives and work processes: seeks and builds on diverse ideas resulting in added-value outcomes.

•Ability to sell using “SPIN” and other techniques to ensure maximize sales opportunities in each account by fact finding needs and drivers.
•IT skills with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
