Job description

Reporting to the CEO, your main job is to find sales leads, position their web based HR solutions to prospective clients and convince these prospects that their solution is the best choice to transform their business. Your role will involve prospecting for new clients by cold calling, networking or advertising amongst others.

This is a consultative selling role where you will need to be able to understand the clients pain points and then articulate our value proposition to the relevant stakeholders including HR, finance and IT.

Responsibilities

  • Finding prospects and identifying new sales leads
  • Profiling customers, opportunities and leads including understanding procurement, IT and other relevant policies
  • Performing system demo’s with prospects
  • Attending customer meetings
  • Developing, preparing and delivering propositions, presentations and reports
  • Creating quotes, proposals and business cases as required
  • Responding to and managing RFI/RFP/Tender documents
  • Management of web/telephone and email based sales enquiries
  • Keeping up to date on competitive and market knowledge and trends
  • Perform appropriate networking such as attending conferences, industry events and trade shows
  • Ensuring management are kept in the loop with regular, timely and accurate reporting and forecasting including recording all activities, actions in the CRM
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.

Experience

You should have prior proven experience in B2B software sales including developing your own leads and prospecting for brand new business. HR, payroll or applicant tracking software experience would be an advantage but is not necessary. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to confidently communicate at all levels of the organization. The role involves national travel to customer sites as well as our offices in Birmingham.
