Marketing and Bids Coordinator

Birmingham

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Bids Coordinator to join our Water team in Birmingham. This is a new position within the Water team, working closely with the Advisory Group Director. The overall purpose of this role will be to:-

  • Strengthen and support the operational links with RHDHV Marketing and Communications Europe

  • Assist the Director Advisory Group to create a robust digital strategy in line with RHDHV Marketing and Communications Europe guidance

  • Further develop presentations for the Advisory Group to improve their knowledge and capability.

  • Writing content for new business tender responses that is bespoke to a prospective customer

  • Writing and collating proposals for strategic sales opportunities

  • Ensure all work submitted is clear, concise and error free

  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to fully understand the customer and their requirements

  • Manage marketing templates, tools and guidelines and ensure they are available on the appropriate Intranet sites

  • Provide monthly reports on Tender opportunities and results

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing all marketing and brand information in line with RHDHV Marketing and Communications Europe

  • Support the bid writing process by producing high quality, written proposals that clearly articulate the organisations’ value proposition

  • The individual will be required to maintain the highest standards with regard to respect, integrity and confidentiality.

  • Research clients, market sectors and topics on the Internet.

  • Organise documents (e.g. official letters, proposal documents, covering letters, and proposals) for signature and issue.

  • Attend external meetings and occasional exhibition attendance

  • General office administration (photocopying, filing, archiving etc.)

  • Liaise with other support staff in Peterborough and other offices including other PA’s to ensure resources are used optimally across the business.

  • Maintain & update the CRM database

  • Complete Customer Satisfaction Survey information.

  • Maintain staff CVs

  • Update and complete Project Reference Sheets

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Desktop Publishing)

  • Good knowledge of Digital Marketing principles and techniques

  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret information, data and research quickly

  • Possess a creative flair combined with commercial writing skills

  • A self-starter with a 'can do' attitude

  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills

  • Able to take responsibility and initiative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Team worker, confident in dealing with people of all levels

  • Experience of the tender process and key terminology and documents (desirable)

  • Marketing Degree, CIM or relevant qualification (desirable)
