My client is currently seeking a Buyer with some work experience in a similar role
Working as part of a busy team, you will be assisting in the purchase of indirect goods and supporting the Buyers in all procurement tasks.
Your main responsibilities will be the
- expedition of Purchase Orders
- negotiating with suppliers and contributing to cost-effective procurement.
- Assist the Buyers in sourcing, preparing tenders and dealing with day-to-day tasks.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be reliable, conscientious and eager to learn. Previous experience in a Purchasing Department would be advantageous. With a good general education, you will need be numerate and literate with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
