Accounts Assistant
Birmingham - Coleshill
£18,000 - £22,000pa

Our client a leading Information Technology company based in Coleshill, just outside Birmingham, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team.
The Role:
* Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
* Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
* Prepare, verify, and process invoices and coding payment documents
* Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
* Data enter invoices for payment
* Process backup reports after data entry
* Maintain listing of accounts receivable and payable
* Maintain the general ledger
The Person:
* knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures
* knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers
*Knowledge and experience of sage 200 desirable
