Part-Qualified Pensions Actuary - Birmingham

As a Part-Qualified Pensions Actuary within the larger retirement team you will be taking part in a broad mix of complex projects supporting a selection of clients with their pension schemes. This is inclusive of both trustee and corporate work.

Within the variety of projects you will be a key contact with your clients whilst also taking a pivotal role in the planning, creating and delivery of the projects. These will include:

* Defined benefit and contribution plan design and strategy,
* Asset liability modelling (ALM),
* Pension plan financial management.

Alongside the above the client seeks individuals who ooze initiative and are hungry to progress with great project management and leadership qualities. As you progress, you will be taking lead in project management roles to deliver to your clients.

You will act as a key contact for both FIA qualified consultants and the clients directly and so quality written and verbal communication skills are imperative for the successful candidate.

To be successful within the role you will need to fulfill the following requirements:

* Previous experience consulting on UK pension schemes,
* Making sound and steady progress through the FIA qualifications with the goal of becoming FIA qualified,
* Having worked previously in a similar environment.

Te client is flexible with regards to how far you have progressed through the FIA qualifications and will look at people who are in the early stages of the CT series.
