A new opportunity to take responsibility for the Asset Management Administration team for a housing association has become available; to work with the Repairs Managers and the Asset Management Surveyors to assist the Head of Assets and Head of Repairs by maintaining, updating and reporting on the Groups asset information systems. Key Duties:

• Providing efficient management and direction of the Asset Management Administration Team with regular 1:2:1s and annual PDRs
• Assisting in the coordinating and collecting data and ensuring accurate KPIs and Board reports are produced at a high standard
• Auditing asset information systems on a regular basis and working alongside the Technical Assistant to ensure the improvement of said systems
• Liaising with contractors and ensuring works are completed within set timescales
• Ensuring repair orders for response, cyclical, planned and improvement wokrs are progressed through the appropriate systems
• Working with the Contact Centre on improving the efficiency of repairs call handling and work allocation
• Providing a confidential word processing service for the Director of Assets and the Heads of Asset Maintenance and Repairs

Key Criteria:

• A background in working within a repairs maintenace team is essential
• Experience of managing staff is vital
• Proven experience of working with large database softwares and manipulating data is essential
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance and/or facilities is key
• An awareness of asset management and contract management is highly desirable
