We have a wonderful opportunity for an Ecommerce Specialist to join a leading multi-channel retailer, which has implemented a sustained programme of growth.
This company has a vision to become the best online retailer of the goods that they sell, and provide the best online customer experience, and their vision is set to become reality! Due to the company's online growth plans, they are now looking to hire an experienced Ecommerce Assistant, who is able to support the team and Head of Ecommerce. On a daily basis you'll be providing website support, which includes maintaining the company websites, supporting with the pay-per-click advertising for search engines and sponsored listings on eBay and Amazon, providing reports on all ecommerce activity, and managing customer reviews across all websites. In addition, you will work closely with the Product Manager to manage and add new products to the online product catalogue, to source product images, and analyse product pricing.
What we're looking for
Naturally, you should take great interest in retail / ecommerce sales, and it's expected that you have a least two years' experience which has been gained in an ecommerce environment. It's essential that you can ensure maximum product exposure across all sales platforms, and an understanding of pay-per-click advertising would be advantageous. Software-wise, our client needs someone who is confident in all Microsoft packages with particular focus on Excel. As a person, they are looking for someone who is bright, ambitious, and open to learning new skills in and around ecommerce. It goes without saying that you should be able to work as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and are able to demonstrate attention to detail.
