The Company & Requirement

Our client is a specialist facilities services provider that is based in the West Midlands. This SME owner managed business is highly successful, profitable and growing. Due to a pending retirement, the company is looking to recruit a Sales Director for the company to help with the next phase of business growth and development.

As Number 2 in the business the role will provide plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to play a major part in growing and shaping sales and the company’s evolution. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Sales Manager / Director that has excellent sales team management experience.

Experience & Traits

  • Must have significant sales team leadership experience - a proven track record of successfully running sales teams, mentoring, coaching, recruiting and developing sales staff
  • A proven senior sales leadership track record - this could be in services or products, ideally with SME businesses
  • Ideally, successful sales experience in more than one sector
  • Strong personal selling expertise
  • Highly professional and organised with first class time management skills
  • Empathetic in approach with excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and able to empower staff around you
  • Charismatic, energetic and inspirational as a Sales Leader
