Quantity Surveyor; Bespoke House-Builder (Residential)

We are hoping to attract a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join an innovative, modern, privately-owned developer with a focus on high-quality and sustainable residential dwellings.

With an excellent cash-flow and access to substantial internal funds, the business is able to embark on a large variety of innovative and exciting opportunities. In testament to company's vision, they are backed by, and partnered with a firm that is currently valued circa £1bn internationally.

The team are definitively passionate about quality, design and sustainability and they consistently continue to develop their expertise, experience and in turn, their creative flair in order to fuse modern trends in interior styles with practical modern day living.

In order to sustain and increase the company's place in the market, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team, with previous experience in the following:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Undertaking analysis of cost
  • Assisting in establishing client requirements and supporting feasibility studies
  • Managing risk assessment, value management and cost control
  • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
  • Valuing completed works and arranging payments
  • Residential background is preferable but not imperative

Please bear in mind that we are prepared to be flexible with salary expectations and we understand that different experience and demands will dictate different expectations. Please discuss this with us as we are prepared to offer very attractive packages for the right people.

If you are currently considering your options, please apply and we will contact you whether you are successful or not. Equally, if this position is not quite right for you, but you are considering your options, please contact Ben Ward at The Built World for a confidential discussion
