Field Training Officer
Role: Field Training Officer – 12 month fixed term contract
Salary: £29,956 per annum + £3,500 car allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Job Share Considered)
Location: Head Office, Binley Business Park, Coventry (extensive travel)
An opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Training & Development team to deliver consistently high quality statutory/mandatory training. By having our own internal training officers we are able to keep our costs to locations down, reduce our reliance upon external training providers, deliver training more responsively and locally, reduce travel time and costs, increase the areas we deliver and deliver high quality training that has ExtraCare’s values at their heart.
You will expect to spend a minimum of 75% of your time out of Head Office.
The aim of the role is to design and deliver training to all of your frontline staff across the whole of ExtraCare. Working with the Training and Development Manager, you will deliver training and actively contribute to the overall success of the Training and Development function within ExtraCare. The training we deliver is underpinned by our values and it is expected that the successful person will exemplify our values in the way they deliver their training.
Key duties for the Field Training Officer will be to deliver bespoke training solutions that support the delivery of ExtraCare’s training requirements across all of your locations including Head Office. You will be required to evaluate and closely monitor the effectiveness and success of your training and produce reports on your own training and external providers’ training, where necessary.
In addition, you will be required to undertake specific Training and Development projects directed by the Training and Development Manager and provide support in the promotion and delivery of the Training and Development function across the charity.
An integral role in the charity, you will work across the whole organisation and be required to travel to all ExtraCare locations in the North and south of the country.
The successful candidate will have previous training delivery experience and relevant qualifications e.g. CITP or equivalent.
