Paraplanner – Birmingham – Full Time. Salary dependant on experience & qualifications

Essential experience:
• Ideally you should be familiar with new business processing as well as producing client portfolio valuations and reports for Advisers.
• Good working knowledge of different investment types and wrappers
• Practical knowledge of the administration of company schemes and other employee benefits
• Effective management skills, delivering as a team first class client service and compliant standards

The role:
You will report directly to the Managing Director, responsible for overseeing the existing administration team that provide support for a number of investment/pension/ mortgage advisers, meeting the work flow requirements of the business which will cover both new clients and the servicing of existing clients.

Additional duties may include day to day administration such as:
• processing applications
• photocopying; filing
• chasing outstanding information
• Liaising with clients & providers
• answering the telephone
• dealing with insurance companies
• supporting admin staff and other advisers as and when required
• requesting quotations

General skills and experience:
• Understanding of the Financial Planning process and the administration involve
• Experience working as a Financial Administrator
• Experience of Analytics and O&M preferable but not essential
• Ability to work within defined business processes and achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
• Ability to plan your own workload and manage your time
• Attention to detail
• Professional and friendly manner
