Your new role
Your new role has been created to support the non-planner role aspects of Global Forecasting and Planning in Parts. The role holder will support the Manager, Global Forecasting and Planning by delivering a variety of ad hoc projects. These projects will typically be of a cross-functional nature. You will also be responsible for providing functional input into reporting teams in terms of enhancing the organisations reporting capabilities. You will be responsible for leading and executing a variety of forecasting and planning development projects, acting as a core representative of the regional forecasting and planning team in multi-functional project environments. Furthermore, you will be analysing complex data simulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You are required to have an expert understanding of Supply Chain principles as well as Operations and Logistics. The successful candidate will also have strong mathematical/statistics background as you will be required to deliver a variety of projects aimed at enhancing the company's planning approach. This role requires detailed knowledge of the principles underpinning all activities and tasks performed within a Forecasting & Planning department. You will need to be highly analytical in order to succeed in this role, with excellent communication skills. You will have experience of working on projects, with a proven track record of success. Ideally, you will be of a graduate calibre that has studied within one of the following disciplines; Economics, Business Management or Engineering.
