Based in Dorset and other UK locations but with a global marketplace Trakm8 is well placed to take advantage of current market opportunities. Increased fuel costs, reduction in operating costs and numerous employment laws such as Duty of Care are all driving increased interest in our products and services. We are now urgently looking for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to be based in our offices in Coleshill or Shaftesbury.

The Role:
* Advise the Directors on such legal issues as may arise in the normal course of business.
* Advise on operational legal issues, such as (without limitation); terms of trade, branding IPR, EU Competition Law, Employment Law, Acquisitions & Mergers, as they arise.
* Draft or facilitate the construction of any company legal agreements, letters and instruments by consultation with Directors, Employees and third parties as may be required.
* Drafting and review of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and agents.
* Liaise and consult as appropriate external legal advisors as required.
* Review Press Release texts, including those issued through the Regulatory News Service (RNS) or through internal channels.
* Organise and monitor company CLOSE periods.
* Maintain and manage the necessary records using third parties where appropriate regarding employee share purchases and disposals and share option agreements.
* Facilitate FCA consumer licence reporting submissions.
* Liaise and utilise as appropriate external legal advisors as required.
* Review and maintain the Group HR policies when required in consultation with the HR Manager & Board
* Liaise and utilise as appropriate external legal advisors as required.


The Person:

* Degree level education in relevant discipline ( Law, Accounting, Economics etc)
* High level of literacy & numeracy
* Business Acumen
* Diplomacy and confidentiality traits
* Reasonable MS literacy


Desirable Skills

* LPC qualification/experience
* Member of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority
* Relevant Industry sector experience
* Sound interpersonal skills
* ACA or LLB (Hons) or BA in a relevant discipline
