Site Manager – Heritage
Starting Mid-August to End of August 2017 for 5-6 months
Up to 250 per day
Our Midlands based main contractor is now looking to recruit a freelance Site Manager; this client’s projects cover commercial, student accommodation, apartments, leisure, healthcare, education on a local and nationwide basis, working on new build, refurbishment / fit out, cut & carve and conversion contracts, values up to £20million.
Site Manager required to work on a conversion of a Grade II Listed Building, converting into retail units and apartments, and new basement area to create a pub, value £2.4million.
This is part of a larger project and will be connected to a new build £15million Student Accommodation block.
You will be required to be a self-motivated individual that is autonomous in you role, whilst being able to driving the subcontractors, manage contractors on site as a No.1, general day to day issues, Quality and programme. This person must be cable of managing all aspects of the production works (be standalone), be dynamic and eager to drive projects forward.
Requirements:·You must have experience of Heritage / Grade Listed Buildings, ideally Victorian or Georgian ·CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS are essential
