Teaching Assistant required for North Staffordshire SEN School

Location: Newcastle under Lyme

Duration: Full time from September

Salary: £55-65

The School:

This is a brilliant setting in North Staffordshire who is currently looking for two Teaching Assistants to join their team from September. This is a school that cater for pupils from KS1 - KS4 with SEMH needs.

The role:

The school currently have two roles available for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who have worked with KS3/4 pupils with behavioural needs. You will need exceptional classroom ability and be able to work closely with the students on a 1-2-1 basis. The school are looking for someone with MAPA training but will provide if necessary. Requirements:

  • Qualified teaching assistant (any level)
  • SEN School based experience
  • Available full time
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Driving license
  • Full DBS
