Part-time HR Manager. Our client is a very successful Hereford based company who are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their growing team. If you have a solid current knowledge of employment legislation, proven leadership capabilities and exceptional organisational and communication skills with the availability to work 15 hours per week then APPLY NOW.

The successful candidate will need to have a proven HR experience of three to five years, be experienced in developing and supporting line managers and the ability to maintain confidentiality acting with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop HR policy and procedures and monitor/review continuously
  • Manage complex employee relations casework
  • Oversee annual leave requests and allowances
  • Record all sickness with back to work interviews
  • SMP rules and regulations updates including risk assessments for pregnant staff
  • Advise the Managing Director on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them
  • Implement learning and development policy
  • Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Support the recruitment process (job descriptions, advertising, interviewing, reference checking etc)
  • Carry out new starter inductions
  • Contracts of employment, restrictive covenants etc
  • Manage talent and succession planning
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals
  • Employee handbook responsibility to keep up-to-date
  • Staff appraisals
  • Support change management processes

Previous experience

  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven HR experience of three to five years is desirable
  • Proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation


  • £25,000 - £30,000 depending upon experience (Pro Rata)
  • 15 hours per week (5 hours per day)
  • 20 days holidays plus bank holidays (pro rata) increasing by 1 day per year after 2 years service to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
