Where you’ll work
As the Business Development NHS Sector Lead, you will be responsible for the one Veolia solution within the NHS sector, this will encompass Waste, Water and Energy where applicable with the emphasis being on Energy where you will be expected to demonstrate a full working knowledge of the NHS energy sector relating to outsourced provision of hot water, steam, chilled water and electricity across NHS estates sites.
What you’ll do
As the Business Development Lead you will manage, lead and create the conditions for the Sales organisation to deliver organic sales growth in line with budgetary requirements, you will assist with the development of the strategic plan for the Industrial business activity to support the business in delivering profitable growth, by proactively targeting the Industrial market sector and utilising the resource available to win new business and retain existing business. You will be responsible for the creation of appropriate plans, bid output & the customer solution. As the Business development lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of organic sales growth & retaining our existing customer business, you will devise, critically evaluate, trial & roll out new strategic projects to deliver growth & business improvement, ensuring that all new contracts are bid in respect to our Health and Safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications required for the role
To enable you to carry out this role you will have previous sales and presentation experience, experience building high end relationships both internally and externally and high level management communication skills. You will have facilitation skills, to develop innovative solutions to operational problems and a proven track record in the sales environment working with Blue chip companies, preferably within the service industry. A thorough understanding of multi-site business services, where balancing quality of service and operational costs is a key element in the successful achievement of objectives. Customer oriented/Service delivery focused.
To carry out this role you will have good negotiation & client management skills with appreciation of Strategic Account focus and numeracy & literacy experience with commercial acumen. You will have experience of analysis & interpretation of complex data sets and an understanding of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) legislative requirements and how to deliver improved safety performance. You will also have graduate level of education.
