Scheduler (£16,000-£20,000 per annum) now needed to be responsible for booking appointments/ courses and diary management for a team of Health & Safety Trainers/Consultants based in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The Scheduler is a key role within their fast-paced business offering Health & Safety Training and Consultancy. You will be responsible for;

- Booking in new appointments and courses into the diary and allocating the nearest trainer with the right skill set

- Ensuring that Trainers have all the correct information required

- Checking diaries on a daily basis to ensure the right people are booked for the right jobs

- Arranging cover for all appointments and courses in the event of holiday or sickness

- Raising purchase orders for all Associates booked

- Ensuring that Associates have all the correct information required for each appointment

- Updating relevant log sheets with jobs booked in

- Confirming all appointments booked with clients and informing clients of any changes to appointments

- Supporting the sales team with following up after appointments/courses

- Where possible, scheduling time and appointments efficiently with an emphasis on keeping costs down, choosing the right person in the right location so as to avoid travel and overnight stay costs

The ideal Scheduler will possess the following skills and experiences;

- Experience of working within a Service Delivery / Contact Centre team (desirable)

- Previous experience in a scheduling role (desirable)

- Experience of managing resources to optimise performance, in a target driven scheduling environment, recognising and taking into account, skills, availability and location (desirable)

- Excellent Customer Service skills are essential

- Experience of working in a fast paced service centre environment

- Demonstrates a high level of communication skills and has the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner

- Has the ability to interact and communicate as appropriate to the audience

- Passionate about delivering high quality service and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Keen to learn, willing to ask questions and to quickly absorb new information

- Conscientious and motivated to support other members of the team

- An excellent team player, personable and able to get on with colleagues in all teams

- Able to work under pressure in a busy office, organised with attention to detail

- Proof of the right to work in the UK will be checked and satisfactory references must be provided

- A full clean driving licence and access to own transport would be an advantage
