The ideal candidate for this position will be a dynamic and competent physics graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and has the ability to wholeheartedly contribute towards all aspects of school life. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to maintain a high level of drive and passion that will motivate them for the rest of their teaching career.
In this role you will be spending most of your working day within the school's Science Department. One of your tasks will be to contribute to the preparation of lessons and further your teaching skills through the expert instruction of a physics teacher who will act as your mentor. Day-to-day, you will be helping to keep mainstream classes disruption free by running small intervention groups for pupils who, whether due to their particularly low or high ability, are not reaching their potential.
