Fund Monitor - Birmingham/Manchester
'What's one of those?' I hear some of you ask. Well as long as you're from a Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying background and have carried out some technical due diligence you'll likely have touched on it.
Basically tasked with looking after the financial interests of major banks and funds, you'd be carrying out a range of services to funders and investors across the UK and Europe on projects ranging from £2m to £800m across a wide range of project types, such as technical due diligence, monthly monitoring and applications for funding.
It's a great way to see the inception of many projects and look at the risks involved, reporting them to the funders and helping get the ball rolling. You'll need to be good at reporting, analysing and interpreting data, and once you're established and up and running, there is the capacity to be based from home and on site rather than chained to an office desk.
Of course, if you've done this before, even better!
