Position Description:

  • FEA analysis of Brake and suspension system components & systems for modal, stiffness, strength, durability and refinement. Identification of design proposals and brake system / component optimisation.

Skills Required:

  • The ability to utilise one, or more of the following codes - Simpack (MBS), Hypermesh, Abaqus.
  • A basic understanding of Chassis system performance requirements e.g. Durability & Reliabilty, NVH etc
  • Strong engineering skills with the ability to assess the appropriateness of results and guide the design.

Experience Required:

  • The ability to utilise one, or more of the following codes - Simpack (MBS), Hypermesh, Abaqus.
  • A basic understanding of Chassis system performance requirements e.g. Durability & Reliabilty, NVH etc
  • Strong engineering skills with the ability to assess the appropriateness of results and guide the design.

Experience Preferred:
