We have a wonderful opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager, working with contract and procurement teams, in a highly respected, Birmingham based firm.

As Learning and Development Specialist, you will be crucial in developing and implementing a variety of unique training programs specifically for the Procurement and Contract teams across the organisation. This is a brand new role and so using your experience and innovation you will create outstanding training programs that work within the existing of learning and development frameworks.

In a hands on role you will be delivering training for your teams, as well as creating strategy, evaluating the value and impact of your training as your role progresses. You will suggest recommendations for improvements, ensuring your training is as beneficial and effective as possible. As you will be dealing with a variety of stakeholders, you will need to ensure you implement your exceptional communication skills to provide an outstanding service.

Your ability to maintain long-term relationships with your peers will be key, as you provide invaluable support and guidance, occasionally on a one-to-one basis. A real thoroughness in all you do is essential, ensuring all training programs meet specific requirements for the Procurement and Contract teams.

For this brand new opportunity, within a successful; global business, you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years practical training experience, and over 12 months experience in management development. Given the nature of the teams you will be developing, you will ideally have a mathematical background and be highly numerate You will be provided with the opportunity to really put your own stamp on this position, managing your own workload and taking on the responsibility for staff performance.
