My client based in Coventry is currently looking for a number of Technical Trainers to join their team.

The role will be to manage and develop an innovative teaching and learning experience in a variety or practical and theory skills. The role will include the understanding of manufacturing standards, analysis of training needs and the successful person will be required to facilitate the undertaking of training programmes of individuals and groups to national standards and the satisfaction of customers, maintaining feedback assessment and performance records at all times.

*Delivery of high-quality and engaging technical training (practical, theoretical and distance based) to Apprentices through the current standards
*Learning content creation and development of apprenticeship schemes-of-work. Identifying and coordinating the integration of relevant existing training offers from industry partners into the apprenticeship scheme of work
*Liaising with staff, including but not limited to Engineering Technicians and Research Engineers to ensure the Apprenticeship programme continues to meets the clients vision
*Monitoring of learning environment, learner workplace Health, Safety and welfare.
*Ensuring the progress of the whole caseload of Learners towards all framework components is synonymous with timely achievement by carrying out regular reviews.

*Current Technical competence within the Manufacturing sector
*Problem solving and decision making skills
*Ability to be creative in thought processes and delivery
*Up to date with all the latest industry information
*Understand all changes in the legislation and apprenticeship standards
*To be prepared to attend any course that will enhance work related skills
*Carry out regular performance development reviews with identified apprentices
*Plan, design and delivery of engineering training programmes
*Ensure that safe working practices are maintained at all times
*Evidence of lean practices and training delivery
*Background in Electrical Maintenance

Hours of work 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday plus 25 days Holiday plus Statutory plus other benefits

Salary up to £36k
