Are you passionate about care but want to be able to spend more time with your client?

If so, why not work for Active Assistance where you can provide one to one support in the client’s own home. At Active Assistance you will be a Personal Assistant which is what sets us aside from other care companies. You will be working with one client so you will get to know them well. This helps to develop a good working relationship with the client. With us you can put your caring nature into practice. Personal care assistants can really spend time with the client, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

We are currently recruiting personal assistants to work with a male client within his own home. You will be working on a one to one basis with the client, supporting him in his everyday activities. Our client has a spinal cord injury, therefore you will also be providing all aspects of personal care such as washing, dressing and safe moving & handling. Our Managers will ensure you feel competent before you are lone working. The client may want privacy and personal space at times which you will need to be mindful of. You will be able to keep yourself busy with domestic duties around the home.

As you will be required to drive the client’s vehicle you will need to have a full driving licence
