We are currently on the lookout for a SAP HR/Payroll Consultant to join our 100 person strong IT function here in Birmingham. Based within the Development Team, this role is key in ensuring that we are able to deliver SAP projects and enhancements across the business.

Competitive salary and packageMain responsibilities
Reporting in to the Enterprise System Team Lead, you will be responsible for working with our project team and external SAP development partner to deliver new functionality and integration with 3rd party systems such as time and attendance. You will undertake SAP system analyst work with our business facing demand team, including design, technical specification, configuration and unit testing in the HR and payroll functional areas. In addition, you will clearly communicate with stakeholders from across the business, consulting and engaging at all levels.Ideal candidate
You will be system savvy with experience in a SAP HR/Payroll configuration, ideally gained within a large, complex, multi-faceted organisation is essential. You will have an understanding of HR personnel administration, time management and organisational management and an understanding of core payroll functions. You will be a strong and effective communicator with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and third party providers in a confident manner. You will be keen to deliver an excellent service to your colleagues and customers, communicating effectively over the telephone, via written documentation and face-to-face.
This role is being offered on 2 year fixed term contract, on a part-time basis working 2.5 days per week.
