Senior Operations Manager based in Staffordshire

Hays are currently recruiting for a reputable main contractor based in the Staffordshire area, for a Senior Operations Manager on a temporary basis.
Your new role
As Senior Operations Manager you will be responsible for operational work streams across a number of key areas of business. You will ensure that all contractual requirements are met while simultaneously guaranteeing that Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters are managed, and that the business adheres to its compliance standards for gas, electrical, asbestos etc.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role, you will need to have similar experience working for a company within the construction industry and you be able to confidently take charge of work programs and planning, where you will ensure that projects achieve client budget and business-plan targets, providing early warnings to the Director on problem issues and potential over-spend as soon as they are apparent.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will get a temporary contract of at least 6 months work, in addition to a competitive rate of pay.
