Working for this leading venue in the heart of central Birmingham, you will be part of a small dynamic team who work to drive revenue streams by exploiting a variety of commercial opportunities. This is a true business development function, working from warm leads, you will be generating interest, creating bespoke / tailored packages for business clients and ultimately negotiating and closing deals.

You will ideally have experience in developing commercial income in a venue / leisure environment, have B2B sales experience and strong local knowledge. An understand of marketing and events would certainly be advantageous as would any knowledge of space and people and Health & Safety. Strong communication and numeracy skills are key as is the ability to analyse performance data in order for you to be able to target specific opportunities. This is working for a very iconic venue.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a business development / sales function that requires a little creativity and commercial flair.
