The National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is an evidence-based lifestyle change program which has been demonstrated to delay or prevent the development of type 2 diabetes among people at high risk. Our client is a provider of the programme.

An opportunity has arisen for a National Diabetes Prevention Administrator to join our client’s Health team in its contact centre based in Yardley, Birmingham, on a fixed term contract. This is an important role in which you will be an integral part of the team by providing a high level of support to advisors, managers and clients.

A typical day will include:

· Managing and filing client documentation in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

· To keep accurate records of all participants referrals and interactions on company database and systems.

· Dealing with day to day responsibilities of the teams administrative requirements: post, sending letters, sending texts, calling participants to re-arrange planned sessions and to attend introductory sessions.

· To complete tasks/projects as directed by manager which may include duties such as data reconciliation between various systems.

You must have the following skills and experience:

Excellent presentation, listening and written skills.

Ability to build rapport and adapt to participants needs.

Ability to work to team and organisational goals.

Planning and organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills and understanding of its importance in both client relationships and teamwork.

Attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure.

Demonstrates a good level of IT literacy – MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to think laterally and problem solve.
