My client has been established for over 15 years with 8 practices and their own glazing facilities.
They have worked very hard to build a strong reputation for quality and service and are now looking for a professionally driven optometrist to join one of their practices in a prime location.
All practices have retinal cameras, projection test charts, slit lamps and fully computerised systems with paper back up record cards.
The practices have mixed opening hours from 9.00 – 5.30, Monday to Saturdays with no Sunday working with 1 hour lunch break. They can consider both full and part time optometrists applications.
This is a very exciting time for this group as since opening it has been very successful and they now require either a full or part time optometrist to start.
Experience of working in an independent environment would be an advantage but not essential as it is more important to be a part of a growing independent group.
The company offers a wide selection of high end frames such as Fendi, Emilio Pucci and Flexon and are Oakley agents to name a few and a range of lenses to suit all pockets.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Undertake eye tests and contact lens assessments and have a professional handover to ensure the clients receive the best products for their needs and all the appropriate suggestions and recommendations are passed on.
Requirements for the Optometrist
The role requires you be GOC registered with full CET accreditations completed.
A 30 minute testing time dependent on clients.
