The role will cover all aspects of the generalist role, particularly ER. The HR Advisor will be the first of contact for all staff and will be expected to be able to deliver up to date information on HR policy and procedure
My client is a well established organisation within the Birmingham area. They are looking for an HR Advisor to support all staff with HR queries.
The main duties will be to:
Provide up to date HR policy and procedure advice to all Line Managers within the business
To deal with all grievance and disciplinary issues which occur within the business.
To educate Line Managers through coaching to enable them to deliver the 1st stage of disciplinary process
To monitor and report absence and sickness trends
To deal with any ad hoc projects within the HR team
The ideal candidate will have a positive and motivated attitude to work. A proven work history within the HR Advisor field and be comfortable and confident with the delivery of up to date information regarding HR Policy and Procedure. The HR Advisor will be the go to person for all HR queries, so the person needs to be approachable, unflappable and very personable.
Previous HR experience within a stand alone role would be an advantageous.
