A fantastic Primary school in Birmingham is looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant to start in September.
This is an amazing opportunity for an aspiring primary teacher, as you’ll be working as a general Teaching Assistant in one class for the academic year, essential experience if you’re a wannabe primary teacher.

The Headteacher of this wonderful primary school has decided to recruit an additional Teaching Assistant to her support staff, starting in September. Ideally the Headteacher is looking to appoint a graduate with a solid education background, and one who aspires to teach in the future.
As a Teaching Assistant at this school you’ll be working in one class from September, which is likely to be in KS2. You should possess excellent communication skills, along with patience and empathy. Your daily duties will consist of supporting an outstanding graded teacher in all aspects of lesson preparation, delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons, and making sure the class remains on course to pass any tests/ exams they may have.
As this school also offers many after school clubs and extracurricular activities, there is plenty of scope for you to get fully involved in whole school life, something the Headteacher would welcome.
No previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is required for this school, however if you do have some experience in tutoring, summer camps, teaching English as a foreign language, this would definitely be an advantage.
