We are looking for a PR & Communications Manager to join our Marketing team in Derby. The role will be responsible for helping to deliver results against our Marketing strategy, including promoting the value of our brand and identifying and spotting opportunities to ensure competitive advantage.

As PR & Communications Manager, you will manage all media relations, drafting media materials, including communications plans and organised targeted press releases, ownership of social media, email and other communications activity with the ability to target and capture audiences to ensure appropriate coverage.

In addition to driving our brand and consumer PR externally, you will also be responsible for internal communications initiatives, including organising internal events, teleconferencing and road shows to communicate across multiple-site operations.

You will ideally have a degree in marketing or communications and demonstrate previous media sector or journalism experience. You will have the ability to build and maintain solid relationships, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills. You must also be able to prioritise multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.

This is a new role and offers the opportunity for the right person to develop and grow their impact at a personal and business level.

We’ll pay up to £30,000 per annum and other benefits include 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays (and we let you have your birthday off!), pension scheme of up to 9% employer contributions, Life assurance of four times your salary and a Health Cash Plan.
