Job Description:

One of the most respected and professional Insurance Companies is recruiting a Motor Claims Handler to join their growing team. This role will see you working in the corporate department of the business and dealing with clients whose premium spend is over £75K. This team has grown in high numbers over the past two years and is continuing this growth by offering its clients a first class service.

Job responsibilities as follows:

·Handling a variety of non-PI, motor claims in a cost effective manner in accordance with the group guidelines, procedures and claims philosophy

·Deciding on legal liability and policy liability issues

·Compliance with all regulatory and internal systems controls

·Identifying cases which may be suitable for the group fraud programmes

·Initiating and co-ordinating investigations into liability and quantum

·Negotiating with clients, claimants and their representatives

·Reviewing and estimating on current claims files

·Handling litigation and fraud cases

·Client liaison in accordance with individual client requirements

To apply, our client is seeking motor claims experience. Ideally you will have handled your own caseload and be well informed of current regulations and guidelines. If you do have a general claims/customer services background and have an aptitude to learn, your application may also be considered. You will have excellent client relationship skills, along with the ability to make informed decisions and work well as part of a team.
