Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Flexible hours within 8:30 to 6:30 Monday to Friday

Contract: contract and permanent available

About Us:

Conatus Child Psychology is an independent psychology practice, based in Kenilworth and we provide clinical and educational psychology services throughout the Midlands region. Established in 2010, the practice has developed significantly and provides services into public, private and charitable organisations, to schools and individual clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinician to join our team specialising in offering therapeutic interventions and clinical assessments, primarily to looked-after and adoptive children and their families. Your clinical work will principally be carried out in the Birmingham area, with management and supervision held at our main base in Kenilworth. The work involves providing trauma/attachment interventions, alongside staff and carer consultations and training. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with additional training and experience in dyadic developmental psychotherapy, theraplay and non-violent resistance. Our staff are well supported through an extensive CPD programme, clinical supervision and regular contact with colleagues.


  • A registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council 
  • Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals 
  • Proven experience and in assessing and managing a range of clinical presentations 
  • Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competent in various methods of clinical assessment and interventions
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working with some independence in role 
  • A driver with access to a vehicle
