Support Worker required for immediate start in Rugby. Full and part time hours, competitive pay
Your new company
Hays are a local agency that are working with various settings across Rugby that support children and young people within residential care. We are looking for local support workers to assist on a full and part time basis covering ad hock and shift cover.
Your new role
In your new role as Support Worker, you will be working within a children's and young person's residential home that caters for individuals with learning and behavioural needs. They service users have a range of needs including, Asperger's, Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome. You will be required to work either on a full or part time basis covering from 7.30am to 11pm assisting with personal care, feeding and ensuring that they have learning and recreational activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role as a Support Worker, you will need to hold a Level 3 qualification within childcare and have previous experience working with children and young people either in a residential or school based setting. You will need to be able to provide reference details of the two most recent placements.
