Legal Officer with 4 years' legal experience required to join a leading local authority on a permanent basis.

Your new company
Hays are currently working in partnership with a well-established, leading local authority which helps to improve people's lives on a daily basis. They do this by assisting clients and communities alike within the areas they service. Due to a rising demand for property and work development, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Officer to join their legal services team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will be required to undertake legal casework relevant to your level of experience and qualifications. You will provide your support to more senior colleagues with appropriate workload. Moreover, you will draft legal documents at a low level. You'll also take responsibility for routine commercial conveyancing transactions and liaise with colleagues to ensure effective communication. Lastly, you will provide advice to the clients and handle negotiation when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be a UK law graduate with completed CILEX level 3 or equivalent qualification. You will have at least 4 years of legal work experience and possess knowledge of relevant legislation.
