SF Group are currently searching for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a Global Company in Derby on a temporary ongoing basis. This business has an excellent reputation in its field and and is known as one of the Best Employers across Derby. Due to their continued growth they have undergone a restructure and are now looking to strengthen their finance team with additional support in their Purchase Ledger department.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
  • Process business expense returns
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheques
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques

Skills and experience:

  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self disciplined
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
