My client is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the Shrewsbury and SY postcode area. Previous experience working within the Waste Management industry is preferrred but you must have proven B2B field sales experience is essential. You will be homes based but regular visits to head office in Chester will be required.

Key Duties Will Include:-

- Developing a specific postcode area for sales via cold calling, telephone and referrals

- Arranging sales appointments (minimum of 4 per day) with prospective clients to gain contracts for waste collection services

- Selling complete waste management system solutions

- Liaising with third party sub-contractors

- Updating management information on a daily basis

- Updating internal database with results from each appointment

- Emailing quotes to prospective clients

Key Skills and Experience Required:-

- Proven track record in field sales

- Target driven

- Tenacious approach to developing sales

- Self motivated and able to manage own time

- Professional and approachable

- Experience of sales within the waste industry would be a strong advantage

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08.30am-5.00pm

Basic salary £20k-£25k plus commission
