An exciting full time, permanent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Media Sales Executive, as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK are now looking to welcome a Senior Media Sales Executive to one of their sister brands based in Hereford. The company specialises in bringing Housing, Local Government and Public Sector news to a dedicated audience through a variety of media. It is an outstanding opportunity to work with a contemporary and innovative Media Business, whereby the successful candidate will increase advertising and subscriptions through managing existing clients and bringing on new clients. Offering a basic salary of up to £23,000 + commission, they are looking to recruit NOW.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Senior Media Sales Executive:

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships via telephone, letters and emails
  • To sell sponsorships and tickets to their annual award as well as selling advertising within the company’s magazine and increasing subscriptions
  • Attending networking events, exhibitions and conferences (internationally)
  • Exceed agreed sales targets by maintaining business from existing clients whilst bringing in new business
  • Actively seek and identifying new sales opportunities in order to grow revenue
  • Carrying out regular market research exercises to gain a thorough understanding of the customer and their needs
  • Preparing sales proposals and PowerPoint sales presentations, which effectively sell the features, advantages and benefits of our products and meet the needs of the customer

The person best suited to this Senior Media Sales Executive opportunity will:

  • Have experience in Sales, Media Sales would be advantageous
  • Possess the ability to create, maintain and develop strong relationships with customers
  • Possess strong sales skills communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Have excellent telephone skills
  • Present a positive, confident and enthusiastic attitude towards the job, the company and your colleagues at all times
  • Be a strong negotiator
  • Be resilient and able to overcome disappointment
