We currently have the following vacancies within our Income Team:-

Rent Account Handler, 10 month fixed term contract

Rent Account Handler, 12 month fixed term contract

Rental Account Handler - Fixed term contract up to 1st December 2017

We are looking for Account Handlers who can operate an efficient and effective income collection service relating to rents, service charges and other housing income.

Responsible for timely collections you will be working to achieve excellent levels of income collection from our customers and applying a preventative approach, you will also be expected to provide suitable advice to customers regarding entitlements and benefits on an individual basis. You will be responsible for identifying cases for proactive contact and enforcement action, being responsible for a portfolio of properties.

With excellent interpersonal skills and good literacy, you must be a confident communicator and possess exceptional negotiation skills. Ideally you will have experience of working within a housing management or debt management environment and will need to have a good understanding of benefit systems and domestic budgeting.

Our service operates between 08:00 hours and 20:00 hours, and a rota system is in place to cover these hours. When not working on an out of hours basis a flexible working hours arrangement is in place.

There will be a requirement to work from our Customer Service Centre based in Coventry as part of a team rota.
